  You underestimate the weaponry that they have. It includes explosives. It doesn't have to be an even match technologically since guerilla warfare has always been asymmetrical.

  Also, Republican congress will not have the courage to fight the Frankenstein that they have created.

  I highly doubt the right wingers will ever rise up, just like the right wing in South Africa who threatened a full scale uprising when it became clear that full democratic elections would be held.

  There is the example of the Bundy incident where supporters were taking sniping positions to kill law enforcement officers.

  So in my opinion will there be a general right-wing uprising? No way! They're cowards. Perhaps a bomb or two or the odd shooting then they'll crawl back into their rat holes and continue stewing in their hatred in muted malevolence.

  You and other posters here severely underestimate them. The American revolution started out with rag tag militias which quickly organized after the first shot was fired. They want a fight.

  The analogy doesn't hold except, of course, in the moral justification of both examples. Their outcry will not die down because there are hundreds of right wing religious leaders who have been fanning the flames for well over a decade.

  To all of you who responded to me and to the board in general I suggest that you go to http://www.rightwingwatch.org/ every day and read the (short) posts with videos of the hate mongering/civil war prattling of these leaders.   And then she'll be jojoed in and out of jail? If she now goes back to jail her supporters may turn violent. They've been crying out for civil war for years now and it would only take a spark to ignite it.

  In my opinion sending her to jail instead of fining her was a strategic mistake. She's been made more powerful.

  Agreed but, like I stated above, it's a chess game and moves have to be carefully weighed instead of rushed.

  I predict a resignation in her future or else an impeachment.

  Impeachment is not an option! If it's held up for a vote the same people who voted for her will take her side. That would give them an even bigger victory with major repercussions nationwide.

  And, from her point of view, there is no reason to resign. She has the support of many who would think of her as a quitter if she were to resign.
